DIY AND BIRTHDAYS

I am on holiday woohoo! DIY is well in progress walls being stripped, skirting is cut, carpets ripped up doors waiting to be hung, having a great time :)

Twas my birthday on the 14th had lots of beautiful handmade cards, chocolates, stash, a couple CDS and a book. My Ryan was 16 on the 16th bless, i decorated the house with banners and balloons we did have a laugh :D

Well best get back to it, also need to unearth my scrap table to get on with some CJ entries

Snow

Yes, we had snow in Wiltshire. The kids were so excited about the snow they glued themselves to the radio in the hopes of hearing that their schools would be closed for the day! the snow took longer to fall to the ground than it did settle, it was just slush then it rained for the rest of the day, so no fun snowmen or snowball fight pictures for me.

Went off to the post office to collect my parcel oh! yes its a pizza box so that can only mean one thing - STASH! cant look until next week though and the skirting board arrived too! I haven't done anything exciting today just the dreaded H word but with the RHCP blasting out of the stereo it made it more of a pleasant job :)

Crikey! Wednesday already

Where has the week gone? Its my day off tomorrow and it is forecast to snow! I love new untouched snow, the boys are all hoping that the schools will be shut so that they can play all day :) so i will have to get my camera batteries on charge as i can feel a photo sesh coming on :D

My skirting board is due to be delivered tomorrow and my Dad is hoping to make a start in the extension on friday. I have a parcel waiting in the post office i am pretty sure its from my swappee on UKS, i joined the Jan/Feb birthday swap - citing init!

I am now counting the days down now until my holiday (5 days to go), i really want some time to do some crafting, also off to Bristol one day next week to catch up with the lurkers for a coffee and a good ol' chin wag.

Well i think thats about all for now, so enjoy the snow (hope it doesnt last too long)

Just a quick post
Well Colin popped over on Friday took some of his stuff, he has been back today to tidy up the Van and that has now gone too, we were both sad to see it go. I have been out in the garden tidying that up, the winter sunshine has been gorgeous today I do love it when its sunny and fresh anyway, i am off to bed in a mo took the dogs for a long walk and i am completely shattered LOL

Ahhhh! I have a stinking cold

I have had a sore throat for about week now, last night the nose blocked up and is now on constant drip mode! On the whole i have had a good week, now Friday is looming use to like the weekends but... at the mo until things settle down i seem to dread them. This weekend is the biggie, Colin moves out and my little VW bus also is going to a new home. I have mixed feelings, still positive but also a little sad (am talking about Colin, not the bus LOL (though i will miss the bus too)) the boys aren't going to their dads this weekend which i am secretly please about.

i have got a week off work soon so i will get cracking on some jobs around the house like wallpaper stripping, painting - god i hate decorating thankful my step dad has said he will come over to finish off jobs like skirting boards architrave and hanging doors, then once that is out of my system i can settle down to do my crafting.

Time!

I need time, i have soo much to do and not enough time to do it, i dont know why - before the split i had loads of time, but now....no time! i even have to write lists so that i dont forget to do stuff! I havent crafted properly since the cyber crop, i am hoping that i can settle to sit and do some soon especially as i have the cj and addy cards to complete and a new craft robo to play with!

Thanks to you all that have been checking in on my blog and its always nice to know that you have been missed :) will try to make more of an effort

First of all i want to wish you all a very happy new year :)

Well, i havent been around much as i have been very busy sorting my life out! i am going through a major change at the mo - my husband and i have decided that we are going to split up. A saying springs to mind 'Dont cry because its over, Smile cos it happened' i am feeling positive and looking forward to my future, i know this is the right thing for me to do. i have some very valued friends, hugs to you all, for looking out for me :) Anyways, that is the reason why i havent blogged LOL

Did go to the ModScraps crop today though, which was brill, didnt do much in the way of crafting but i did do a lot of chatting and laughing. Came home with a new CJ to get my teeth into which i know will give me the kick up backside that i need, plus i have some addy cards that need to be done by next month, so this is all good.
