A Christmas Tag By Gem

Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate: Hot Chocolate without the slightest hesitation, never tried Egg Nog!

Coloured lights on the tree/house or white: We have white lights on our tree not got any outside house lights but if we did pretty sure that they would be the icicle ones

Do you hang mistletoe: Nope

When do you put your decorations up: Generally the second week of December

What’s your fave holiday dish (excluding desserts): That has to be the Christmas dinner we don’t have turkey we have pork and chicken with all the trimmings - yummy!

What’s your fave Christmas memory as a child: the pure excitement on Christmas eve waiting for father Christmas to come, I couldn’t ever sleep

How and when did you learn the truth about Santa: Cant remember, but I still believe he is the spirit of my Christmas. It wouldn’t be Christmas without him

Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve: Some years Colin and I have, but only after all the Christmas preparations have been done and if we have any little pressies this year we wont as we have only one present each and they are big

How do you decorated your Christmas Tree: start with the lights then the tinsel, then the baubles, Colin if he isn’t away places the Angel on the top of the tree this year Lewis had the honour

Snow! Love it or dread it: ummm! Like it for about 5 mins when its fresh not walked on, then I don’t like it anymore LOL

Can you ice skate: Only been ice skating once and that was when I was eleven managed to stay upright for abit LOL

Do you remember your fave gift: As a child the most favourite was probably my telly (still got it! And it still works) as an adult my most favourite present would have to be my camera or my HiTi or could it be this years present this which is Robbie Robo that is a tough one LOL

What’s the most important thing about Christmas for you: Being with my family

What tops your tree: A sliver angel she is looking a little tired now but I haven’t the heart to replace her

Which do you prefer, giving or receiving: Once I have gotten over the frustration of what to buy, I love to watch the reaction of the person especially the boys that is my Christmas watch the kids open there presents.
I of course like to receive pressies too J

What is your fave Christmas song: I like the rock and roll Christmas songs and enjoy the traditional carols too so not got a fave really

What’s your fave Christmas story: I like the part of the nativity when the angel Gabriel came down to tell the shepherds that baby Jesus was born
my favourite film i think would be 'miracle on 34th Street' or 'its a wonderful life'

I am going to tag Nat and Beth

OOO! Sowwee

I have been such a bad blogger and not been keeping up with checking on your blogs either.

Colin has gone away in his lorry wont be back until crimbo eve, i have put the decs up so i am starting to get into the christmas spirit. So what has happened.....nothing really had my works party on friday the food was garbage but i had a laugh spent the saturday with a bad hangover aparantely the wine was off! On Sunday went to Bristol to pop in to see the lurkers we were having a 12 hour crop but as i havent been feeling like crafting thought it was pointless me staying so i just stayed for a couple of hours for a good old natter and to give crimbo cards etc.

i have now bound the book from Giselles class it is just waiting for some pictures but i will take a photo to show you and one of the decoration, still not done anything with the 'trash' book that Kirsty Wiseman taught. I am off work tomorrow so i will get some piccies and post :D

Brief update

The funeral was today :( my aunt gave me some of my nans photos which means as you can appreciate the world! isn't it when you lose someone so close, that it really makes you think - this is why I scrap!

I have had a real up and down week, found going back to work very difficult as i work in a nursing home! but as you guys have said i am just to go with what ever/ how i feel so i am just taking one day at a time.

Anyway on a lighter note, Crimbo Scrapcamp day, was lovely, a fun packed day with 25 peeps, Kirsty Wiseman took the first class and showed us how to make a groovy 'Trash' book using things like acetate, CD case, CD envelope, cardboard and paint think she said there where piccies of it on her blog so go over and have a looky, not completed mine as yet, second class was by Hilary Ford she showed us how to make a altered crimbo decoration really enjoyed doing this class fiddly as it was but was really able to play at something different will take a piccie and show you. Last but not least was Giselle Homers' class of a Christmas binded book which was absolutely gorgeous i have plans to put all my 2006 Christmas piccies in it, that too isn't completed yet.
It was great to see my scrap buddies and i was so glad that Beth came over the bridge too :)
