Sushi for Tea??

Today the weather is sunny. The boys have been to sort the horse out for me this morning cos they want a lift down to town to buy a xbox, so that is one job that I don't have to do today, thanks guys :)

Taken the boys to town, I think they got quite a good deal a xbox plus 4 games, two controllers for approx £70 so that will be them quiet for a couple of hours. Met Colin down town too, very briefly as its a tad difficult to find a decent parking space for an arttic! Anyway he had bought some sushi as he knew that I really wanted to try it. When you wander around the supermarket doing your food shopping picking up the BOGOFs, they have their finest ranges of the posh food, the sushi just looks so yummy, its the way it is displayed, just always fancied trying it so we are all going to have a nibble later, will report back let you know our verdict. well I enjoyed it so did Ryan, Colin, Jason didn't

Bank Holiday Monday

My two elder boys, Ryan and Jason are still at their dads they will come home tonight. Colin left for work at 3 this morning, I didn't have a good night sleep at all was having horrid dreams about my mum, did an awful lot of crying eventually the time come round to 6 so I phoned my step dad to ask how she was doing and to ask if I could come along to the hospital for a visit, he had said that she was breathing a little better, which put my mind a little more at ease. So really I am floating about today in a bit of a daze. Will maybe pop back later if there is anything to report

Well it is later, mum is coming home, I have suggested to my step dad to hide her cigarettes that he will have to be firm with her, he will have to put up with the shouting cos the doctors have said absolutely no more smoking not one!

I have finished off the class Layouts that I started on Saturday:)

Chillin' Out today

A quick update as I didn't post, yesterday was a fab day went to the Modern scrapbook crop in Bristol and met up with my crop buddies did two fab classes, chatted and drank coffee for the whole 5 hours :) came home to some post that Colin collected from the post office one parcel was from Artbase which had some patterned paper that I need for my Cathy Z project that I am doing and the other was a subscription pressie from Scrapagogo which was a lush pink Craftymate storage bag, I cant stop stroking it LOL.

All the happiness and excitement that I had had was brought to a sudden stop when I received a phone call from my step dad saying that my mum had gone into hospital, she has emphysema and it is really bad, nothing like the lady on the advert advertising 'quit smoking' so I am not to sure how I feel, one minute I am a blubbering wreck and then the next acting as nothing is happening!

Today, has been a chilled out one really my father in law came over for dinner as mum in law is spending the week in Switzerland (cool for some eh!) Fiona and her boyfriend, Richard popped in as I was dishing up pud, not bad timing, least I don't have any left over festering in the fridge now :)
Then there was a huge surprise for Lewis (which is my youngest) his grandad presented him with his very own golf clubs, how chuffed was he :) they went off to the country park for an hour to test the clubs out, while I put my feet up and started my new book 'Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life' by Amy Krouse Rosenthal.

Today I Feel Invisible!

Today hasn't been to bad until my adorable children began ingnoring me, I asked them to do something then asked them to do it again, but nothing happened, so am I invisible :D

I have actually done some distressing *shock-horror*
Jason gave me a little tin that had mints in (notice that I said 'had', the tin was empty not one mint left!) he thought I could do something with it (he has more faith in me than I do) so anyway I gave it a bit of a sand and then added some alcohol inks then decided that I would put some kind of book into it that all went peachy so got to decorate it now, that is where it all goes up the creek I have no idea what to do with it! Aaaaah! i have no mojo
