Hooray!

Well first of all I would like to send a huge congratulations to Relly (rootbeerbaby) on the birth of her baby boy, Toby he arrived at 2:10 am this morning, well done girl!

I am feeling a whole lot better today, all the kids are home from school today as they are all feeling rough! But I have taken an opportunity to do the 'mum according to..' interview with them this morning which was funny (the questions can be found in 'thebigpicture') apparently I am 14 inches tall, really bad at making paper airplanes and would be a pink BooBaa if i was a character!
I have also copied all my scrappy notes into one book, so that i can find it much easier than hunting for bits of paper. I am planning to finish off my class Layouts today too. Will show you when they are finished.

urrrrrgh!

I have been poorly sick *whinge, wine* I spent all of yesterday in bed, thought this would be fine as I had a couple of new scrap mags to get my teeth into, but alass I couldnt keep my eyes open long enough. My stomach is still not settled today. School also rang for me to collect Ryan as he was poorly, I believe we are bugged!

Saturday, I spent the day with my croppin pals, as always is a pleasure, so the weekend wasnt a total loss

A Double Layout!!

I started last night! Got the photos printed, decided what papers to use, had an idea where I wanted the photos, cos I had seen a BH sketch I quite liked, so made a start. Didn't sleep properly! Got up this morning had a look at the LO with fresh eyes and that is how it went on for most of today! Back and forth, little bit here and there, but it is done now!

Popped over to see me mam! She has lost nearly 2 stone in a week! She looks much better for it though and she has cut down on the oxygen which is fantastic, the poor woman had pleurisy!

Its Wednesday and....!!!

I sorted out my Robox, then put all its contents into my Artbin Express, actually got more stash into it! Not too sure how long I will use it, before I put it all back into my beloved Robox though :) Getting organized for the Mod Crop on Saturday, I don't really know why, as I never do anything other than the class LOs, loads of chatting and slurping coffee! Ah well!

I also backed up my photos to disc so that's another job done. Took some piccies of Lewis and Ryan trying to fly their kite, which wasn't easy as they were running around in circles! Don't know who was more dizzy me or them!

Mum is home from hospital which is good news, will be going to see her tomorrow.

Had a Play

Gosh I haven't posted for a while, what has happened.....ummmm not a lot!, I went to pick up my Scrapagogo kit from the post office on Saturday, went to Cribbs Causeway on Sunday with a couple of friends, I did really well I managed to spend £200 of my friends money heehee!

unfortunatelyy mum has gone back into hospital, fingers crossed she will be home soon, she is no way as bad as last time!

I have been playing tonight with my gogo kit :) i am sure pugsley wont mind me using purple and flowers (cos pugs is a little boy)

Off to work in the morning, so I best get an early night tonight, as I over slept this morning!

Ladies who Lurk

Left for Bristol after dropping little Lou off at school this morning, checked out what was new in the modern scrap shop, bought one of the Autumn Leaves books - 'design with type'. Met up with a couple of the lurkers, then we left for borders, where we met a few more, we all spent four hours drinking coffee and generally having a good ole' chin wag, it was great, thanks girls :)

Came home to an empty fridge and hungry children so a trip to the supermarket is called for GREAT! I hate food shopping! At the mo our local Tesco is being refurbished, they keep moving all the products around so i cant find nothing anyway whinge over.

Off to bed soon to curl up with my new book :)

Had a Giggle

We had a huge thunder storm at 5 o'clock this morning defiantly cleared the air, though it is starting to get muggy again now.

I took these photos today to use on a LO that Giselle has planned for the Bristol Mod crop that is later this month. I haven't tried this before, so i was giggling at myself trying to get the camera in the correct position. I really like the option to change to B/W it hides soo much :D

Rhonna Farrer has started her {21} challenge, think I will follow her blog with interest and see what is all about then maybe give the next round a go :) when you have five minutes take a look!

Hopefully will get a decent nights kip, off on a lurk tomorrow with my scrapping pals from Bristol.

Calm Day

Its a bit cooler today. I think the boys are tired today as they were up most of the night larking about :) Colin has washed/hoovered my car for me, thanks hun! I have just done a Layout of Jason using the Cherryarte papers that I bought yesterday, I don't think it turned out too bad! Lewis is at a birthday party will pick him up at 1 o'clock. He had a great time if not a little hot from the all the running about he must of been doing.

Well as you can see I did another Layout, I really enjoyed the playing, Ryan kept getting all my embellishment boxes out, which I found quite inspiring, so thanks Ryan. He also suggested the inking which I think looks cool :)

Been gallivanting

Well Lewis went to Beavers on Friday, Colin went to collect him, Lewis was absolutely full of it, he thinks that it is the best thing since malcom in the middle:)

Today Lewis went golfing at a proper course with his grandad, so I took the opportunity, asked Colin could we go to Stroud to check out two shops, Craftypast times and Paperarts. I think I was very good I didn't buy very much at all, a few Cherryarte boys boys papers, a small alphabet stamp set, booked a place on the 12hour crop in August, and of course some herma :) On the way home we decided to do a BBQ we invited MIL/FIL over, the boys were having a friend stay over so we set up the putt tent in the garden for them. They played dodge ball, lazer shooting games and play fighting.

Time Keeps Running Away

The weather continues to be glorious, I love it when we have a good spell of the sunshine it makes people smile:)

Well I think I have finished my entry for the LWL CJ, will take photos for my record, but wont upload until the circle is completed as I never know who might take a sneaky peek :D Also completed cutting/gluing my letters for the CZ project so all the basics are done, just photos/journaling left to do.

Been to see mum today, she looks soo much better than last week, she hasn't had a cigarette for nearly a week, you can tell the difference in her breathing already :)

I'm off to work tomorrow, Lewis is going to Beavers for the first time and Colin is coming home...........So until tomorrow I bid you a goodnight :)

Back to Normal

The kids went back to school, Colin left for work this morning at some ungodly hour 2:30! apparently i was dead to the world, i should hope so too!

Well i did some scrapping today *hooray* i cut all the basic pieces for my CZ project, stuck them down, cut a few of the letters up to 'F'. I also made a start on my 'Ladies who Lurk' Cj so i am quite chuffed!

Time Goes By So Quickly

Where has the time gone? This week has just flown by. Nothing much has happened, went to work on Wednesday, visited mum on Thursday then popped round to see my friend Kirsty, worked on Friday.

What fantastic weather we are having this weekend, wonder how long it will last! Bought a BBQ on Saturday, the one we had wouldn't pass a food and hygiene inspection! So today we christened the new one, I had a few vodka ices mmm they went down a treat! And the kids had a water fight.

Oh! I just remembered, I ordered a book it arrived but it was the wrong one, the book company were very helpful and said they would get the correct book out to me asap and that I could keep the wrong book with their compliments, which I thought was fab, unfortunately I already have the book!
