Busy doing nothing :)

Well what have i done today - absolutely nothing, i have surfed the net, checked out my favorite blogs, downloaded my free Elsie Flannigan fonts, read a few more of the challenges in the book, burnt the tea! Suppose i really ought to put some washing on. Going to watch 'walk the line' tonight then off to bed fairly early as i have work tomorrow.
I am trying to upload a couple of photos but blogger seems to be on a go slow - ah well i will try adding them tomorrow

Jason is now 14, well he was on Friday, we have celebrated most of the weekend in some form or another Friday he chose what we would have for tea which was a roast dinner, with a double chocolate gateau for pud, yummy, Saturday we went to Berkley Castle to watch the medieval jousting i found it very interesting think the boys enjoyed it too and today we went to Cribbs Causeway to the skate shop for him to choose a pair of trainers.

Also on Friday I met up with a couple of my Bristol pals at paperarts where we spent 3 hours oooin' and ahhhin' in this most gorgeous shop, i think i spent the least out of all of us :D we left when we couldn't ignore our stomachs any longer, we drove to a converted mill 'Egypt Mill' where we had the most scrummy meal and a much needed drink, there we chatted happily putting the world to rights, and watched the ducks duckin and divin' what a great day.

Well that is pretty much caught up :)

Ear Infection

Poor little Lou, he has an ear infection, he had a real rough night! I felt helpless, all i could do was keep giving him paracetemol, rang the doctors (did wait until the mad rush period would be over) about 10:35, the receptionist, said that she could fit him in at 11, which was great, problem was we were all still in our pjs! So one heck of a mad rush to go get washed/dressed and in the car for the appointment, we mad it by the skin of our teeth, he has amoxicillin now 3 times a day. Poor kid has been brewing for something, he wasn't feeling too rosey last week.

Anyhoo! We have now started the summer holidays, the big boys have just left to go swimming, Lewis is watching Citv, not too sure what i am up to yet, i was supposed to be at work today!

Winding down

Once again, not too much to record, winding down with the school holidays starting, the two older boys finished Friday, Lewis' last day today. I am looking forward to the holidays , no making sandwiches (unless for a picnic), no getting up early (unless i am working that day) a little bit of chillin' out for 6 weeks. I cant believe it will be Ryan's LAST summer holiday!

Jasons birthday on Friday, not sure what to get him? He is into dragons, hmmm! Think i need to ask him.

Yesterday, went to Bristol on a lurk with a few of the lurkers, which is always fun (a little 'ME' time)

Speaking of 'ME' i have ordered my album to use for the 'BoM'. Also making a note of the questions that are being posted on UKS to promote 'ME' thoughts, trying to rack my brains to think of stuff, really struggling with yesterdays one 'heroes' enjoying it all though :)

Forgot to mention that Lewis' investiture into Beavers went really well he said his promise with confidence, i think he is really chuffed he is now a Beaver - Bless, it was a real proud mummy moment :) just need to scrap it now!

Doin' the good mommy thing :)

Today has be noticeably cooler, a mere 30 degrees! LOL

I have been to Lewis' school to watch him and his class parade up and down their playground fashioning their fab hats that they designed ah! Bless em

Then off to the secondary school, to then watch Lewis be chief rat in the 'pied piper' school play,
it was great, didn't manage to get any photos as there where far too many parents heads in the way, the performance was brilliant really enjoyed it, just there was no aircon so i now know what a melting ice lolly feels like - hot, sticky and dripping! Still didn't lose an pounds ooh! Only the one i gave for the collection at the end :D

Tomorrow Lewis is being invested into the beavers so that is another mommy moment :)

Doubting Thomas

What has happened today ummmmm................Nothing worth posting about!
Went to work I melted, came home continued to melt, sat here now melting. With all this melting you would think i would have lose some weight, but oh no! Not an ounce. moan moan before I know it, it will be chucking it down and i will be moaning about that! LOL

Off to get my scrapagogo kit tomorrow, been asking the kids if they have any orange clothing that would match the paper! So if not will have to take them shopping LOL or to save pennies may just use B&W piccies!

I am going through a time where I doubt my ability to scrap, I cant find the right paper to go with a piccie or i have some cool paper but just don't have a clue what on earth to do with it! Do you go through this too or is it just me?

No No No

I cant stand this heat, it is horrible, I am hot and bothered, I cant sleep properly at night, which is making me more irritable!

Did manage to do a Layout today though. I know its my feet but, I thought it would be fun to scrap 'em and an opportunity to use up some pink paper that I have from a kit

Not looking forward to work tomorrow either, not because i don't want to go to work, but I don't want to work in this heat!

I am going now, I am being far too grumpy LOL

KIDS, BLESS 'EM

Well I had a fab night sleep, so I spent the morning thinking about my CJ entry, then cracked on with it, as I said I will take a photo of the entry but wont post until the CJ is complete. Anyhooo everything was going swimmingly just put the finishing touches to it, a little bit of Diamond Glaze, put it out of the way so it could dry, smashing!

My dear darling children returned home from a hard day at school, came into the kitchen to greet me then - oooo!, cool!, oops!, sorry! a few unsavoury words shouted by me to number 1 son as he had poked one grubby little finger into my not so dry Diamond Glaze!

Anyway, not all was lost I put a little more DG into the crater, it does seem to be working hooray!

There is a new series that has started tonight on E4 'Ghost Whisper' it does look good, so that will be Tuesday evenings sorted out for the next couple of weeks. :D

Off to work in the morning, so best go and get organized.

Knackered

I am completely pooped, I have done nothing at all today, the weather is pants too!

Well here are the LOs that I completed at the crop yesterday. I think by looking back through my album there is a style emerging. I am completely loving using the big photos. Not at work until Wednesday so hopefully with a good night sleep tonight I will be more enthused to crack on, finish my other LO and complete a CJ entry.

Crikey! Not Much Good At This....

Blogging lark! Cant believe that it is the 9th July already, well I do live the simple life so nothing highly exciting has happened since my last post!

But, today I have been to my first 12 hour crop :) had a fantastic time with the Mod Scrappers, I even got some scrapping done *dundunda* yes I know that is what you are suppose to do! But hey, I am easily distracted :D

I will pop the LOs on that I did, probably tomorrow as I am hanging now

Arrrgh! I am melting!

Nothing much has happened really in the last couple of days, I did go out last night with a couple of mates on the beer, that was a laugh, was a fool as usual. My nose hurts so much, my friend was coming out of my back door in her drunkenness down the steps, just as I was saying - all happening slow motion - 'take it steady' she fell, as I was saying the words I was up to stop her from falling she headbutted me right on me hooter! We landed in a heap heehee
Also, Colin, Lewis went the the truck fest for the day, Lewis had a camera so hopefully he got some interesting shots for me to scrap.

Oh! My god I cant cope with this heat, I am melting! They are saying that its going to be 32 degrees tomorrow too! Is there no place to hide?

Poor Colin, I do believe that he has now got the lurgy, he is blaming the kerbab that I brought home last night but I don't think so
