Update

Well Lewis had a lovely time he spent the morning with his daddy playing with his pressies, when i came home from work i cooked his chosen tea which was pork chops and potato wedges finished off with the Scooby-Doo cake.

I then left for Bristol to meet up with Ellie and Mandy from ModScraps so we could drive to a little village near Newcastle Emlyn in Wales, where we were going to spend the weekend. The journey to Wales was fine, the directions we were given were just spot on, arrived about 10 o'clock to a warm welcome from the other lurkers who had arrived much earier in the day, a roaring open fire, sausage casserole, jacket potato and a lovely cuppa tea, let the chillin' out begin :)

Saturday we woke up to a beautiful day, the sun was shining and really chilly (just how i love it!) after eating freshly baked bread topped with homemade plum jam, a crumpet and a cuppa Yummy! We drove to New Quay where we walked on the beach, played with our cameras, but the big highlight for me was watching two dolphins playing in the sea WOW! how cool! we were all leaning on the wall oohing and aahing as these most gorgeous creatures played. Unfortunately they were a tad bit too far out for my camera to capture this awesome moment.

After eating an enormous plate of faggots chips and peas we headed back home, where we settled to an late afternoon of scrapping - results my crimbo cards for the family are done YAY!. Once the wine began to flow we decided to pack in scrapping and play some funny word games, as you can imagine it was hilarious, think we toddled off to bed about 1 ish.

Got back home about 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon to the excited chatter of Lewis telling me about his previous evening watching fireworks.

Its always lovely to come home, even after a brilliant time away.

We had our own firework display in the garden which was fab then settled down to a take-away and the rest of the evening curled up on the sofa watching 'Torchwood' mmm... the perfect finale :)
